THE WEEKEND

HI EVERYONE!

haah sorry i've been so busy past 3 days

so to make up... this will be a 3 in 1 blog

i don't think it'll be short

but hopefully it won't be long either

SATURDAY

i woke up at 9AM :D

i dont rememeber what i did in the morning....

OH! i watched poh's kitchen!

and...tried to do some textiles?

anyway! then set off for textiles class

from 1-4PM was pretty productive (:!

i put my whole majorwork onto the mannikin and pinned it approximately!

it works! but .... the hoop kind of flattens T___T

let's hope it's ok for fashion show xO

afterwards stella very nicely drove us to BIRKENHEAD POINT :D!
(she's a PRO driver!)

OMFG IT SUCH AN AWESOME PLACE!

i am definitely going there in the holidays when i am armed with money 8)

SPOTLIGHT

first stop was SPOTLIGHT of course :D

there i bought a metre of PLASTIC!

it was SOO cheap!

i got it for $4.80 :D

cause spotlight was having one of those 20% off everything days

then we set off for the clothes stores :D

i didn't buy anything as nothing caught my eye

but i want to go back and properly go through the place in the holidays one day (:

so yeaa! lisa jade & i  finished shopping and we sat there with stella's mum waiting for stella & jacky

found some awesome reflections to take photos in, in the meantime 8)! 

OH YEA! jade & i went into one of those sweet shops with lollies & drinks from other countries

and bought a cherry flavoured COKE :D!

it was pretty nice 8)

though nothing really special

i probably wouldn't buy it again

i'd prefer trying something else  :D

ATOM THAI

finally they were done 

and stella's mum sped us off to the cinetowntyyyyyyyyy 8)

we ate at atom thai which was quite an adult-y place

but it was nice! 8)

GELATO

so we finished up dinner

and it was getting really close to 8PM which was when W;T was due to start

but we still had one more place to go to

sydney's best gelato :D!

OMFG IT WAS SOOO YUUUUUUUUUUMMY! 8)

lucky i got to finish off my cone as everyone else who ran to W;T had to chuck like half of theirs out xO!

anywayy i parted ways with them at the station and headed off home

SUNDAY

so i woke up at 9AM again (:

and started to work with the plastic i bought on saturday

i had an idea that came to me after talking to jade about plastic and hats

and i suddenly got this crazy idea that i could make plastic sleeves for my majorwork

NB -- for the non-textiles-ers

PLASTIC : basically the hardest fabric/material to work with, 
which should be avoided at all costs....

if you choose to use it, well.. good luck!

yea... T____T

it was the hardest thing ever! to sew

i spent the ENTIRE day on it minus going out for a yumcha lunch

i slept at midnight which is late for me @___@

i didn't think it would work

and i was sooo worried that i'd waste the whole day on this plastic thing that wouldn't work

BUT lucky for me it did!

and i'm happy :D

here's a basic glimpse of what it looks like

you probably can't really see it though cause it's see through xD

i kept losing the pieces cause i couldn't see them T___T

CHARCOAL BUN & OREOS

after yumcha i asked my mum if we could go try the black charcoal bun at breadtop

i'm sure we've all seen it!

that black bun sitting in the corner of the store

which you want to try

but don't dare to

am i right? xD

WELL! we tried it yesterday

ANDDDDDD...

 

it actually wasn't bad!!

like it looks like it would be dry

but noooop it's not dry at all

AND it's GARLIC BREAD LOL xD

it's just like normal garlic bread.. crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside

just the fact that it's .... black

i would so buy it again :D

though my mum didn't think it was anything special

i thought it was actually pretty nice :D

ANDDD!!!!

did you know there are strawberry & chocolate flavoured oreos?

i didn't know O:

OH YEA!

and i baked a cake too :D
like you might not find it interesting

BUT! this was the PRETTIEST roundest loaf i've EVER baked O:!!

but then .. this IS only the 2nd time i've baked a loaf aha.... xD
