SATURDAY TEXTILES CLASS

 they were doing some filming thing at our school O:

SUDDEN URGE TO SEW

i couldn't find a better picture but it's looks something like that thing on top of their heads

it's not thaaaat HUGE

and there's a proper name for it

but can't find it anywhere..

OHH! here's a slightly better picture

basically i've been wanting to make the headband on top of her head

iot's just a piece of fabric with some bendy wire inside that you just twist onto your head

it makes like a bunny ear shape and i think it's oh so very awesome :D

SO..

here's my try :D

i got some floristry wire from ms aroyan during our lesson

and twisted it together

then i went home to sew it :D

of course! 

jeans :D 

i absolutely LOVE the colour of these jeans <3!!

so i cut out and sewed the piece of denim up

then i sewed up a little case for the wire so it doesn't poke out :D

and there we have it! :D

a headband!!! :D

it actually worked :D

i'm quite happy with it 

EXCEPT!

i didn't measure my head properly x(

it's just a few centimetres SHORTER T___T

arggghhhh

ahh well at least i know how to make it now so i can make another one later :D

as soon as i get my hands on some more of that wire 8)!!

i was trying to tie it on my head

but failed as it wasn't big enough x(

and i discovered that u can use it as a collar too! :D

weeeee (:

i'm wearing one of my mum's shirts btw :D

she has a LOT of nice clothes

and she never wears them anymore x(

i think i'll wear that outfit to the eisteddfod tmrw (:

so yea!

the headband/collar can fold up nice an small to store away :D

it's TOMORROW!!

but i know i'm going to be panic-ing like crazy tmrw morning

sigh...

i'm going to be playing it completely from memory so... wish me luck x/
